Book Week Scotland Events, November 2019

I’m taking part in an Author Showcase celebrating Book Week Scotland with Publishing Scotland. Join me and and a host of other Scottish authors at Waterstone’s at 153-157 Sauchiehall Street for an evening of literary banter and book signings! The event is free and unticketed; refreshments will be provided, so come along if you’re in town. Wednesday 20 November 2019, Linlithgow, Scotland, 6.30 – 8.00 p.m.

Dyslexia Scotland West Lothian presents ‘Firebird and White Eagles with Elizabeth Wein’: a talk in connection with Book Week Scotland. It’s aimed at readers aged 10-14, but everyone is welcome to this event at Linlithgow Burgh Halls, The Cross, Linlithgow. The event is free but registration is encouraged. Thursday 21 November 2019, Edinburgh, Scotland, 5.00 – 6.30 p.m.

I’m going to be in conversation with the University of Edinburgh’s writer-in-residence Tracey S. Rosenberg as part of the university’s Visiting Writers Series. The event takes place at 50 George Square, Project Room 1.06, Edinburgh. Doors open at 4.45 p.m. and there will be a drinks reception after the talk at 6.30 p.m. The event is free but ticketed, and you can learn more on either the Scottish Book Trust website or on the University of Edinburgh’s Visiting Writers Series page; registration is via the Eventbrite listing here.
