One Book, One Community

Rose Under Fire has been chosen as Central Pennsylvania’s One Book, One Community read across a 6-county area including over 80 libraries. I’m incredibly excited and honored that my book’s been chosen, and I’ll be speaking at a couple of local events in connection with the program.

Join me on Tuesday, 4 April 2017 at Congregation Beth Israel in Lebanon, PA, where I’ll be talking about Rose Under Fire and flying! You can find more information about the event here. We’ve also got a mini-author-interview here to give you a taster.

There’s a private event in York, PA, on Thursday 6 April 2017 from 1-3 p.m. From 6.30 p.m. I’ll be signing at the Midtown Scholar Bookstore in Harrisburg, PA.

On Saturday, 8 April 2017, I’ll be making a special appearance at the One Book, One Community Readers’ Celebration, held from 12-2 p.m. at the Reading Regional Airport in Pennsylvania. Details for the event, “Telling Their Story: A Readers’ Celebration of Rose Under Fire,” are available here. There will be World War II displays, a slide show, period music, and a free lunch! And the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum, one mile from the airport, is open to the public from 9 a.m. till 4 p.m. The OBOC event is free, but registration is encouraged (you can register here).

A full listing of library discussions and events is up on the One Book, One Community website.
