I'm going to ALA in Las Vegas next week - I'll be signing at an Open Road Media "Meet the Authors" event in connection with The Winter Prince at their booth No. 242 in the Exhibit Hall on 28 June from 2.00 - 2.30 p.m., and at the Disney Hyperion "Meet the Authors" event in connection with Rose Under Fire at their booth No. 603 in the Exhibit Hall on Mon. 30 June from 9.30 - 10.30 a.m. Come drop by and say hi!
As part of the 2014 SYNC title lineup, the marvellous audiobook of Code Name Verity, read by Morven Christie and Lucy Gaskell, is available free from 12-18 June 2014. It's aptly paired with the autobiographical The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, a wonderful story of resistance and faith in the Netherlands in World War II. The Hiding Place was my own introduction to the second World War; I read it over and over again from the time I discovered it at ten, and it inspired my earliest attempts at historical fiction set during this time.
Both titles can be downloaded by visiting SYNC here.
From 9-12 June 2014, I'll be joining the David Estes Fans & YA Book Lovers Unite group on Goodreads for a Q&A session about Code Name Verity. You do need to join the group to participate, but you can read along without joining, too. Here's the link to the group:

I'll be at Book Expo America in New York on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 May!
Signings are Thurs. 29 May 9.15-9.45 a.m. at the MWA (Mystery Writers of America) booth (#2557); Thurs. 29 May at the ABA Lounge Reception, 1.45-2.45 p.m. in the ABA Lounge (BEA show floor, space #214); and Fri. 30 May 3-4 p.m. at the author autographing area.
I'm going to have a story included in Jessica Spotswood's new anthology, Petticoats and Pistols, which Candlewick Press has just acquired. The collection will be a bonanza of new historical fiction about amazing women. Mostly to be set in America, I believe. My story will almost certainly feature some flying! Details here.
