What’s Past is Prologue
Saturday 18 August 2018, 12.15 – 13.15: Freedom to Read, Freedom to Write. This panel, held at the Spark Theatre on George Street at the Edinburgh International Book Festival, will be in conjunction with Lari Don and Candy Gourlay and is chaired by the Society for Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators. We’ll talk about everything from taking inspiration from myths and legends, introducing history through compelling characters, to opening minds to fantastical lands and speculative fiction.
